The ACLS Original Provider Course is an advanced, instructor-led program for healthcare professionals who do not have a current AHA ACLS Provider card or whose certification has expired. Intended for advanced-level providers (RN, RT, PA, NP, MD, Paramedic).
Non-advanced providers must contact the Training Center Coordinator prior to enrollment.

Prerequisites (Strictly Enforced)

• Working knowledge of ECG rhythm interpretation (3–4 lead)
• Basic ACLS pharmacology knowledge
• Basic Coronary Care (BCC) strongly recommended
• Strong BLS/CPR knowledge and skills

Important:

• A current BLS/CPR card is NOT required
• BLS skills are reviewed and tested, but
  • BLS/CPR certification is NOT included in this course

Course Overview

Focuses on team dynamics, communication, cardiac arrest management, and post–cardiac arrest care using case-based scenarios and hands-on skill stations.

Completion Requirements

• Pass all skills stations, including:
  • CPR/AED
  • Bag-mask ventilation
  • Megacode
• Written exam

Successful students receive an AHA ACLS Provider card (valid 2 years).

Course Format

• 16 hours (2 days)
• Full attendance both days required
